Talent deserves the opportunity to develop.

ART of offers a limited number of tuition scholarships for selected dancers participating in ART of - Stage de Danse Marseille 2027, taking place from 16 to 22 August 2027 at ENDM · École Nationale de Danse de Marseille.

The scholarship programme supports talented and highly motivated dancers who demonstrate strong technical ability, artistic potential, commitment and a clear purpose for participating in the course.

Scholarship selection is competitive and is based on the complete application, artistic material, audition video and motivation letter.

Admission to ART of – Stage de Danse Marseille does not automatically guarantee a scholarship.

What the scholarship covers

Scholarships apply to course tuition only.

A Full Scholarship covers 100% of the applicable course tuition.

A Partial Scholarship covers 50% of the applicable course tuition.

Each scholarship is valid only for ART of – Stage de Danse Marseille 2027 and for the participation confirmed by ART of in writing.

Professional Dancers · Age 18+

  • 1 Full Scholarship · 100% of course tuition
  • 1 Partial Scholarship · 50% of course tuition

For the 18+ Professional Dancer category, applicants must meet the professional-status requirements of ART of and may be asked to provide proof of current or previous professional company engagement.

Scholarship places are strictly limited. Meeting the application requirements does not create an entitlement to admission or to a scholarship.

Scholarships do not cover

Scholarships do not cover the EUR 40 application fee, travel to and from Marseille, accommodation, meals and drinks, insurance, local transport, optional photography or media services, or other personal expenses.

The EUR 40 application fee remains payable by every scholarship applicant, including dancers who are subsequently awarded a Full Scholarship.

How to apply

To be considered for an ART of – Stage de Danse Marseille 2027 Scholarship, applicants must submit a complete application before the scholarship deadline.

Please submit:

  • the completed Marseille Application Form
  • one portrait photograph
  • two dance photographs in dance attire
  • a link to an audition video
  • a motivation letter
  • the EUR 40 application fee

The motivation letter should briefly explain the dancer’s training and artistic background, current level, future goals, why they would like to participate in ART of – Stage de Danse Marseille, and why they are applying for scholarship support.

Audition video

The audition video should be approximately 5–10 minutes long, with the dancer’s full body clearly visible.

The video should include barre work, centre practice and a short classical or contemporary variation. Pointe work should be included for applicants training at an appropriate advanced or pre-professional level.

Professional filming is not required.

The purpose of the video is to assess the dancer’s technical level, musicality, coordination, artistic qualities and movement potential.

Scholarship application deadline

1 March 2027

The complete scholarship application, including all required artistic material, motivation letter and the EUR 40 application fee, must be received by this date.

Applications received after 1 March 2027 may still be considered for regular admission, subject to available places, but will normally no longer be considered for a scholarship.

Selection

Scholarship applications are assessed individually. The selection considers:

  • current technical level
  • artistic potential
  • musicality and coordination
  • quality and clarity of movement
  • motivation and commitment
  • training or professional background
  • suitability for the artistic profile of ART of – Stage de Danse Marseille

Scholarship decisions are made separately from general admission.

Successful applicants receive written confirmation specifying the scholarship awarded and, for a Partial Scholarship, the remaining tuition amount to be paid.

A scholarship becomes valid only after written confirmation from ART of.
